In 2011 the Ministry of Education in Ghana placed a contract with Eduteq’s project partner itec Limited for the upgrading of facilities for teaching Science and Technology in 200 schools as part of the Science Resource Centre Project. itec placed a sub-contract with Eduteq for the Procurement, Supply and Delivery of the equipment component of the contract.

Over two phases, 200 Secondary Schools across Ghana will be rehabilitated and re-equipped with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Lab, ICT Technicians, Electronics and Audio Visual equipment.

In 2012 Eduteq were successful in completing Phase One of the project in which we have delivered equipment to 83 of the 200 schools. Phase Two of the project is due to commence in 2013 and will involve Eduteq delivering equipment to the remaining 117 schools and itec carrying out Teacher Training across all 200 schools.
