New partnership with Manchester University

Project will develop the next generation of biomedical engineering entrepreneurs in Thailand.

EduTeq Limited will support Dr Amir Keshmiri, University of Manchester, and Dr Surapong Chatpun, Prince of Songkla University, in their grant application titled “Developing the Next Generation of Biomedical Engineering Entrepreneurs in Thailand.” The two universities plan to establish a centre of excellence in Thailand which will train and educate future entrepreneurs in the biomedical engineering sector. This project will bring together academics and industrialists, and also enhance the relationship between Thailand and the United Kingdom.

Eduteq can offer Manchester University advice and support regarding working in developing markets, working with overseas Universities, and development of equipment solutions. Manchester University will have full access to EduTeq’s expertise and knowledge base.

As practitioners, members of EduTeq’s team have provided equipment and training to universities in Thailand. EduTeq have carried out university improvement projects in many countries including Ghana, Ethiopia, and Libya.  

Emma Parsons, Commercial Manager, will take responsibility for this partnership on the EduTeq side. “We look forward to the opportunity to work in Thailand again, and to being part of such an innovative project.”
